About the position

As a Recreational Gymnastics Coach, you will be responsible for providing exceptional coaching and guidance to gymnasts of various skill levels. The role focuses on creating a positive and supportive environment that fosters skill development, confidence building, and goal achievement for young athletes.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and lead gymnastics classes for participants ranging from beginners to advanced levels in floor exercises, bars, beam, vault, and tumbling.
• Provide individualized feedback and support to help gymnasts improve their techniques and performance.
• Foster a safe and inclusive training environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress, upcoming events, and any relevant information.
• Assist in equipment setup, maintenance, and organization to ensure a safe training environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in gymnastics coaching or participation in competitive gymnastics or Cheer/Dance.
• Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, skills progression, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes of all ages.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain certification.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in sports coaching or related fields such as martial arts, cheerleading, or basketball.
• Background in childcare or lifeguarding.
