About the position

We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our client's team, focusing on filling blue-collar positions. The role involves full-cycle recruitment, collaboration with HR and hiring managers, and managing the onboarding process. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of blue-collar roles and experience in high-volume recruiting environments.

Responsibilities

  • Full-cycle recruitment for blue-collar positions.
  • Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to define job roles and recruitment strategies.
  • Handle inquiries and proactively reach out to candidates.
  • Screen candidates for qualifications and work history.
  • Oversee background checks, drug tests, and other pre-employment processes.
  • Meet monthly hiring targets, focusing on critical roles.
  • Manage onboarding in SuccessFactors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 3 years of experience recruiting for blue-collar roles.
  • Experience recruiting blue-collar workers in construction, transportation, logistics, etc.
  • Strong understanding of blue-collar roles in construction, transportation, and logistics.
  • Skilled in sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, and outreach.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing multiple roles and onboarding tasks.
  • Problem-solving, adaptable, and goal-oriented in a high-volume recruiting environment.
  • Sales and negotiation skills to attract and secure candidates.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with DOT regulations and labor standards (preferred).
  • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).
