About the position

The position involves managing the full-cycle recruitment process in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience while achieving staffing objectives. The role requires collaboration with departmental leadership to implement HR best practices in various areas such as talent assessment, employee engagement, and workforce planning.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for multiple candidates simultaneously.
  • Partner with departmental leadership to develop and execute HR best practices.
  • Lead workforce planning initiatives and provide data for current state analysis.
  • Research and implement employee retention strategies and conduct exit interviews.
  • Facilitate strategies to promote positive employee engagement and culture.
  • Perform recruitment activities in accordance with organizational values and regulatory guidelines.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment plans to ensure staff availability.
  • Review applications and utilize assessments to evaluate candidate qualifications.
  • Coordinate candidate interviews and maintain schedules for timely follow-up.
  • Conduct candidate screens and interviews using behavioral interview techniques.
  • Coordinate the hiring process for new employees, ensuring completion of required procedures.
  • Develop relationships with educational institutions to generate qualified applicants.
  • Consult with stakeholders on recruitment strategies and maintain professional relationships with HR team members.
  • Develop employee relations practices to maintain positive working relationships and morale.
  • Investigate employee issues and provide guidance to management.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field and three years of professional HR experience required.
  • OR Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field and six years of professional HR experience required.
  • Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred.
  • Experience with recruitment, employee engagement, and change management.
  • Demonstrated success in consulting with senior management and influencing business leaders.
  • Recent work experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as PHR or SPHR are preferred.
