About the position

We're seeking a recruiter/administrator to own the talent acquisition process for RFC and who will partner with hiring managers and HR personnel to identify and hire great talent. This position is detail-oriented, follows through, and is comfortable working with various HR Systems. While being based out of Shelbyville, KY, this person should be willing to split time at our Jeffersonville, IN, location as business requires. Ideal candidates will have previous experience supporting HR and performing recruiting and onboarding tasks. This person will recruit for the company to fill vacancies and own the end-to-end process of talent acquisition. They will serve as the main point of contact for all parties throughout the collaborative hiring process to fill open positions effectively. Responsibilities include attracting and sourcing candidates, pre-screening, and presenting qualified job candidates to the hiring manager. The role also involves performing a variety of administrative duties including reports and recordkeeping, and representing the company in a professional manner. As a recruiter, the individual will find qualified candidates for job openings and work to meet the demands of both the employer and the employee throughout the hiring process. They will meet with the hiring manager after the organization opens new job requisitions, train hiring managers on interviewing techniques, and keep them on track throughout the hiring process. The recruiter will serve as the employee brand representative, while internally and externally networking and soliciting candidates. They will work closely with HR Generalists in responsible areas to complete interviews, job offers, and onboarding processes, promote employee referrals, build relationships with candidates and hiring managers, and recommend and implement effective assessment methods to evaluate candidates. As an HR Administrator, this individual will serve as the administrator of HR recruiting software, completing administrative duties related to hiring, electronic files, applicants, and reports for affirmative action planning. They will also be responsible for the New Hire Orientation process, maintain the temporary agency process, and assist with employee relations issues. Overall, this role is crucial in ensuring a smooth and effective recruitment and onboarding process for the company.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field of study.
  • Two or more years of experience as a recruiter or similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills with ability to learn new programs: database software, HR systems, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and reporting.
