About the position

We are seeking a Corporate Recruiter to join our client in Clearwater, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting various positions within the company, which includes both hourly and salaried workers. Your duties will extend beyond recruitment to encompass a range of HR tasks, including onboarding new employees, conducting employee evaluations, managing investigations, and performing other HR-related duties as necessary. This position requires a proactive approach to sourcing candidates and ensuring a smooth hiring process, while also maintaining compliance with company policies and legal requirements. As a Corporate Recruiter, you will post job openings, review resumes, conduct phone screens, and prepare offer letters for selected candidates. You will initiate the onboarding process and ensure that new hires are set up correctly in the HRIS platform. Additionally, you will assist with various HR tasks such as managing Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) requests, conducting employee evaluations, handling investigations, and addressing disciplinary actions. Your role will also involve using the HRIS for tracking and management purposes, ensuring that all processes are documented and compliant with company standards. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this position, as you will be interacting with employees and applicants regularly. You will need to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all HR matters, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and integrity. The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively is crucial, as is the capacity to work collaboratively within a team-based environment. Self-motivation and self-direction will be key attributes for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Recruiter
  • Experience in conducting Background Checks and managing Benefit Functions
  • Comprehensive understanding of Hiring Processes and Corporate Recruiting
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
