This is a dynamic position that combines recruitment responsibilities with HR project support and talent-related initiatives. The role involves performing and coordinating various human resources activities and bank-wide programs. Primary responsibilities include developing and executing strategies for attracting diverse talent, evaluating applicants, interviewing, managing talent data and reporting, advising managers, and participating in hiring decisions and strategies. The position is responsible for all sourcing and recruiting activities, including strategy, execution, and candidate interviewing/evaluation in partnership with hiring leaders and HR Business Partners in alignment with Bank goals. The recruiter will collaborate with and advise hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective diverse recruitment strategies to build a strong candidate pool for all open positions. This includes preparing for and conducting intake meetings with a solid understanding of the talent landscape and maintaining effective communication throughout the search process. The recruiter will also cultivate a great candidate experience through relationships and processes, actively sourcing passive talent through LinkedIn and other creative methods, and ensuring consistency of the employer brand to attract and recruit diverse top talent. Additionally, the recruiter will oversee talent data and reporting, using data to impact organizational recruitment strategies, and build talent pipelines by developing and maintaining relationships with candidates, Talent Connectors, campus liaisons, community partners, recruiting agencies, vendors, and colleges/universities. The role also involves understanding market trends and partnering with the Human Resources team and hiring managers to improve recruiting processes and metrics, overseeing recruiting-related vendors, and providing ongoing support for HR Business Partners in workforce and talent-related initiatives. The recruiter will participate in various human resources projects and talent-related initiatives, assist with improvement efforts in HR processes, data collection, analysis, and employee engagement efforts, and perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all sourcing and recruiting activities, including strategy, execution, and candidate interviewing/evaluation in partnership with hiring leaders and HR Business Partners in alignment with Bank goals.
  • Collaborates with and advises hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective diverse recruitment strategies.
  • Prepares for and conducts intake meetings with a solid understanding of talent landscape and maintains effective communication throughout the search.
  • Cultivates great candidate experience through relationships and processes.
  • Actively and persistently sources passive talent through LinkedIn and other creative methods.
  • Partners with Human Resources Service Delivery on new hire processing, onboarding and related tasks to ensure positive candidate experience.
  • Ensures consistency of employer brand to attract and recruit diverse top talent.
  • Partners with the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Office to align recruiting strategies with diversity and inclusion efforts.
  • Oversees talent data and reporting as well as internal controls related to applicant and workforce efforts.
  • Builds talent pipelines by developing and maintaining relationships with candidates, Talent Connectors, campus liaisons, community partners, recruiting agencies, vendors, colleges/universities and other referral sources.
  • Understands market trends and continually partners with Human Resources team and hiring managers to improve recruiting processes and metrics.
  • Oversees recruiting-related vendors, associated contracts and performance.
  • Provides ongoing support for HR Business Partners in workforce and talent-related initiatives.
  • Participates in a variety of human resources projects and talent-related initiatives including development, training, communications and employee relations.
  • Assists with improvement efforts in HR processes, data collection, analysis and employee engagement efforts.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in human resources, business administration or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years in human resources, recruiting or related experience.
  • Financial services or banking industry experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in LinkedIn as a recruiting tool, social media and HRIS systems with the ability to grasp new technologies.
  • Passion for recruiting with innate ability to instill enthusiasm for our company into all communications with candidates.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a work environment that values, welcomes, respects and honors all dimensions of diversity.
  • General knowledge of employment laws and HR practices, or equivalent business experience.
  • Excellent customer service orientation using a consultative approach.
  • Ability to work within a regulated environment, with a focus on procedures and controls.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills using tact and diplomacy.
  • Adaptable and open to feedback and other viewpoints.
  • Ability to work with a strong sense of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, organize information, analyze data and solve problems.
  • Ability to create efficiencies and improve processes.
  • Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint; HRIS and Applicant Tracking systems, Workday Recruiting experience preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or desire to work toward SHRM-CP certification.
