About the position

The Recruiter / Human Resources Generalist at Boccard will work closely with the Human Resources Business Partner to manage various HR functions including recruiting, compliance, onboarding, and employee benefits. This role is essential in developing recruiting strategies, ensuring a smooth onboarding process, and maintaining employee records while adhering to labor laws and organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract top talent across multiple locations.
• Post job openings on relevant platforms and review resumes for key qualifications.
• Utilize advanced sourcing techniques to identify potential candidates.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and facilitate the selection process.
• Manage the onboarding process, including new hire paperwork and training schedules.
• Handle offboarding processes, including termination paperwork and final payroll adjustments.
• Maintain and update employee files and HR databases for accuracy and compliance.
• Generate reports on HR metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
• Address employee benefits issues and act as a liaison between employees and benefits providers.
• Conduct investigations into employee relations matters and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of proven experience in recruiting and human resources.
• HR Certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) required, or in process.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish; French is an asset.
• Knowledge of US labor laws and employment standards.
• Experience in a multi-site environment is an asset.
• Competency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
