About the position

The Senior Recruiter Talent Advisor will be a key member of the Talent Acquisition team at Gilead Sciences, responsible for recruiting across various functional areas within the organization. This role involves collaborating with business leaders to meet hiring objectives, managing a high volume of requisitions, and ensuring a positive candidate experience while promoting diversity and inclusion throughout the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a substantial volume of requisitions across multiple functional areas concurrently.
  • Deliver full life cycle recruitment from sourcing to hiring for various job families.
  • Utilize a structured recruitment strategy to ensure a cohesive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Leverage diverse sourcing platforms to identify and engage high-quality talent.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion at every stage of the recruitment process.
  • Source candidates from underrepresented groups through partnerships and job boards.
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers to align on job specifications and candidate slates.
  • Provide transparent feedback and communication to candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with hiring managers to update on progress and coordinate interviews.
  • Meet key performance indicators related to recruiting efficiency and quality.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma/GED with 9+ years of experience OR an AA/AS degree with 7+ years OR a BS/BA degree with 5+ years OR a MA/MS degree with 3+ years of experience in recruiting within the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in cross-functional matrixed corporate environments.
  • Experience managing high-volume in-house recruiting within a large organization.
  • Direct knowledge of HR functional disciplines such as employee relations and applicant tracking.
  • Ability to establish credibility with diverse audiences and deliver results.
  • Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills with a history of influencing partners.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills.

  • Experience in healthcare or medical device recruiting.
  • Strong preference for local candidates.
