About the position

Calandro's Supermarket is currently seeking a unique candidate with the ability to work as both an HR Recruiter and a Front End Office Manager in a joint position. We're looking for someone, first off, who's interested in customer satisfaction above all else (a Calandro's hallmark) and who loves the process of attracting, recruiting, and hiring great grocery talent (in all departments) that also embody this unique Calandro's customer service ethos. In addition, beyond the time spent recruiting, we need someone who is excellent at dealing with customers, leading and developing their team members, and working with other managers and staff throughout the store, while being a responsible, caring, meticulous, diligent, and dedicated grocery/retail, front-end, office & customer service manager who genuinely and completely embodies what Calandro's Supermarket is known for. This Recruiter / Office Manager position would report directly to the Assistant Store Managers, would be the primary HR Recruiter for both Calandro's locations, and would share, with the other Office Managers, responsibility for the Front End Department at one of Calandro's locations. The role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including managing the recruitment process for all departments, ensuring top-quality customer service at the front end, and maintaining a positive work environment for all associates. The ideal candidate will be proactive in their approach to both HR and customer service, ensuring that all team members are well-trained and that customer interactions are handled with care and professionalism. The position requires a flexible schedule, with availability from early morning to late evening, including weekends and holidays, to meet the operational needs of the supermarket.
