About The Position

The Physician & APP Recruiter plays a crucial role in supporting the operational goals of Inova Health System by sourcing, identifying, qualifying, and recruiting physicians and physician executives. This position involves collaboration with leadership to develop recruitment programs and strategies, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and providing an engaging experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in Recruitment
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience (4 years)

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years experience in provider/physician/APP recruitment
• Experience in high volume recruitment

Responsibilities

• Provides 'white glove' service to ensure candidates have an engaging experience with Inova Health System.
• Coordinates and administers recruiting processes including initial contact, site visits, and interviews of qualified candidates.
• Conducts pre-screening and preliminary interviews to evaluate candidates' viability for hiring authorities.
• Coordinates with Human Resources to ensure completion of all pre-employment paperwork for employed physicians.
• Communicates with physicians throughout the interview process to bring it to a conclusion.
• Tracks candidates to ensure timely coordination of all facets of the recruiting process.
• Works with leadership to develop recruitment programs, budgets, and strategies.
• Evaluates trends in physician recruitment and educates system leadership on their impact.
• Collaborates with Marketing to develop advertising and recruitment campaigns based on specialty needs.
• Maintains contacts with area schools of medicine and public organizations to attract physicians.
• Attends job fairs and conferences for physician recruitment and makes presentations at schools and organizations.
• Evaluates compatibility between potential physician candidates and current medical staff.
• Assists with scheduling itineraries and escorting physicians through the interview process.
