About the position

The Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Specialist at Penn-Mar is responsible for managing the full lifecycle recruitment process to meet the organization's high-volume recruiting needs. This role requires navigating a competitive job market to identify, evaluate, and present quality candidates who align with the organization's standards and values. The position reports to the HR Director of Talent Acquisition and is part of a collaborative HR team.

Responsibilities

• Managing the full lifecycle recruitment process for open positions
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal partners across departments
• Understanding the ideal candidate profiles for open positions
• Sourcing candidates through various channels including ATS, job boards, and social media
• Screening candidates for qualifications and cultural fit
• Extending job offers to candidates
• Maintaining communication with new hires between offer acceptance and start date
• Ensuring compliance with PA state regulations for new hires
• Identifying opportunities to improve recruitment quality and efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Public Relations/Journalism, etc.)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Recruiting/Human Resources
• Experience with high-volume recruiting
• Experience recruiting within government regulations
• Ability to multitask and balance competing priorities
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
