About the position

The Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Specialist at Zurcher Tire, Inc. is responsible for overseeing all aspects of talent acquisition, including recruiting and staffing. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, developing creative recruitment strategies, and enhancing the organization's talent pipeline. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment with at least five years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with hiring managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of Zurcher Tire hiring needs for each position.
  • Researches, develops, presents and manages compensation analysis and market strategy.
  • Oversees the employment process, including but not limited to, developing recruitment strategy and active recruitment.
  • Uses creativity to develop tailored recruitment plans for hard-to-fill positions.
  • Attracts and builds robust candidate pipelines through job postings, sourcing, referrals, industry organizations, social media, resume databases, community job fairs, colleges, etc.
  • Determines applicant qualifications by screening applicants, analyzing responses, verifying information, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Maintains detailed records of candidates and each interaction.
  • Assists Human Resources with other functions, as necessary.
  • Willing to support special projects or other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred.
  • Creative, innovative approach to talent acquisition and pipeline development.
  • Strong understanding of current HR practices and regulations.
  • Experience with Applicant tracking systems (ATS) and interviewing techniques.
  • Reliable and quick-to-respond; a team player we can depend on.
  • Ability to interact with co-workers in a collaborative and courteous manner while providing guidance, instruction, and training.
  • Ability to problem solve, analyze, and interpret information.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must pass a drug screening and background check.
