Responsibilities

  • Proactively collaborate with HR team and hiring managers to determine recruiting requirements for open and forecasted exempt and non-exempt positions.
  • Utilize applicant-tracking system reporting tools, job boards, social media, community partners, fairs/events, and diversity networks to identify and source potential candidates for hire and present recommendations.
  • Ensure continuous applicant pipelines by reviewing applications, resumes, and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements; prepare information for the selection and interview process.
  • Conduct pre-screening via telephone, online and/or in person.
  • Identify, analyze, and develop actionable steps in response to key performance indicators related to recruiting, retention, and sourcing trends.
  • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine effectiveness of recruiting plans.
  • Additional ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned in support of talent acquisition/diversity initiatives.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in human resources, business administration, or related area.
  • 2 years of full cycle recruiting and sourcing experience, including reporting and metrics.
  • General knowledge of federal, state, and local laws pertaining to Human Resources, specifically recruitment and employment.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, Indeed Easy Apply or other candidate sourcing databases and tools.
  • Direct experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and use as both recruiting and reporting tool.
  • Intermediate skill with MS Excel and Word.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills, effectively and consistently managing multiple projects on target with little to no supervision.
  • Ability to prepare and present information in an organized, logical manner and ensure execution as expected.
  • Direct experience in interviewing and screening techniques.
  • Excellent customer service and telephone etiquette skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively partner at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • 5 years of direct experience in full-cycle recruiting, including reporting and metrics.
