The Recruiter Trainee Program is a comprehensive training initiative designed to equip new recruiters with the essential skills needed in the healthcare staffing industry. Over the first 13 weeks of employment, trainees will engage in a structured program that covers sourcing, screening, selecting, and placing candidates. This program is led by experienced leaders and team members who will provide the necessary knowledge, tools, and resources to ensure success in the role. As a Recruiter Trainee, you will be considered a non-exempt employee and compensated at an hourly rate during the training period. The program emphasizes professional advancement, with the opportunity to transition into the Recruiter 1 role after the initial training. From there, career growth is encouraged, with many recruiters advancing into sales positions such as Business Development Manager. The office environment is team-oriented, promoting open communication and collaboration among colleagues, which fosters a strong team culture. During the training, you will assist and observe experienced recruiters, complete e-learning modules, and familiarize yourself with client requirements and healthcare professional skill sets. You will also learn about the onboarding workflow and the specific requirements of Maxim's processes. Successful completion of the training program is essential for promotion to a recruiter position, and you will be expected to perform various duties as assigned throughout your training.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and observe the Recruiters in the branch office
  • Complete Maxim's Recruiter Trainee E-Learning training module assigned each week
  • Complete Maxim's Recruiter Lead Program curriculum
  • Assist with answering incoming telephone calls from Healthcare professionals (HCP) and School Based Professionals (SBP) and Clients
  • Review the client list and become familiar with the facility requirements
  • Review the HCP/SBP roster and learn about each modality and familiarize with each of their skillsets
  • Review the types of healthcare licenses held by our HCP/SBP and learn the differences
  • Begin to contact candidates about opportunities with Maxim
  • Review the onboarding workflow and become familiar with Maxim's requirements and processes
  • Successfully complete the Recruiter training program within the designated time period in order to be promoted to a Recruiter position
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Management, Communications, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, or licensed RN
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in the English language is required
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Results driven, sense of urgency, and high standard of professionalism
