About the position

Amergis, formerly known as Maxim Healthcare Staffing, has been connecting people to meaningful work since 1988. The Recruiter Trainee Program is a comprehensive training initiative designed to equip new recruiters with essential skills in sourcing, screening, selecting, and placing candidates in the healthcare and school-based sectors. This program lasts for the first 13 weeks of employment, during which trainees will learn from experienced leaders and team members, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge, tools, and resources to succeed in their roles. Trainees are considered non-exempt employees and will be compensated at an hourly rate during this training period. Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees will be promoted to the Recruiter 1 role, marking the beginning of their career advancement within Amergis. The company emphasizes professional growth, with many recruiters advancing into sales roles such as Business Development Managers. The office environment is team-oriented, promoting open communication and collaboration among employees, which fosters a strong team culture across all offices. The Recruiter Trainee will engage in a formal training period that covers compliance, sales techniques, HR processing, company organization, and basic recruitment tools.
