About the position

The Corporate Recruiter at Visual Comfort & Co. is responsible for developing and implementing effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified talent. This role focuses on high-volume recruiting for various operational positions and requires strong collaboration with hiring managers and leadership to meet staffing needs in luxury retail and customer service environments.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and bring top talent to Visual Comfort.
  • Conduct high volume recruiting for operations, project managers, shade installers, field techs, and project designer positions throughout the US.
  • Guide managers and candidates through the selection process while maintaining excellent relations with all stakeholders.
  • Partner with leadership and hiring managers to identify staffing needs and strategies.
  • Create and maintain strong working relationships with senior management and hiring managers.
  • Understand the complete recruiting function, including research, sourcing, networking, and behavior-based interviewing.
  • Communicate effectively, keeping others informed and expressing ideas clearly in both verbal and written forms.
  • Maintain flexibility to deal with shifting priorities in a rapidly expanding business environment.
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience with a high-performing company.
  • Proven track record of building rapport with hiring managers and cross-functional partners.
  • Well-developed network of candidates or skills to build one quickly.
  • Understanding of the talent market, including where to find skills and salary expectations.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
