About the position

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Recruiter to join our team and drive our talent acquisition efforts. This individual will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and securing top talent for various positions within Rivers Safety. The ideal candidate has a strong background in full-cycle recruiting, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for finding the best talent to support our mission and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for multiple positions, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiations.
  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for both immediate hiring needs and future staffing requirements.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment plans.
  • Conduct initial interviews and evaluate candidates' qualifications and cultural fit for the company.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling, feedback collection, and communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Utilize various recruiting platforms and tools to identify, engage, and track candidates effectively.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, talent market conditions, and best practices to optimize recruitment efforts.
  • Represent Rivers Safety at career fairs, networking events, and other talent attraction activities.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably within the safety, construction, or traffic control industries.
  • Proven track record of successfully filling a variety of roles at all levels, including high-demand positions.
  • Strong sourcing skills and familiarity with recruitment platforms and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of relevant employment laws and best practices in recruitment.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for recruiting events or on-site hiring needs.
