About the position

The Recruiter is a vital member of the ABS Global Talent Acquisition (TA) team, which operates as a Center of Excellence (COE) supporting the hiring efforts of three wholly owned ABS organizations. These organizations span across 54 countries and employ over 6,000 individuals. In this position, the Recruiter will primarily focus on fulfilling hiring needs within the United States, with occasional responsibilities extending to Canada. The role requires leveraging experience to recruit candidates across various sectors, including Engineering, Information Technology (IT), Operations, Business Development (BD), Financial Services, and Cyber Security. The Recruiter will proactively develop staffing strategies and explore alternative methods for attracting candidates to open positions. Networking through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and current employees will be essential for success. The Recruiter will work closely with other HR team members, including Recruiters, Coordinators, HR Business Partners, and various levels of HR management. Weekly reporting on assigned openings will be required, utilizing standardized reporting and live sessions with management and Human Resources. The Recruiter will manage the entire recruitment process from requisition creation to offer acceptance, all within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Additionally, the Recruiter will act as a talent acquisition partner to assigned departments, taking the initiative to understand the business and the impact of talent acquisition on operations. On occasion, the Recruiter may collaborate with College Recruiting to attract recent graduates or interns.

Responsibilities

  • Support hiring needs within the United States and occasionally Canada.
  • Recruit candidates in Engineering, Information Technology (IT), Operations, Business Development (BD), Financial Services, and Cyber Security.
  • Create staffing strategies and identify methods for attracting candidates to open positions.
  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and current employees.
  • Collaborate with HR team members including Recruiters, Coordinators, HR Business Partners, and management.
  • Report weekly on assigned openings to management and Human Resources.
  • Manage the recruitment process from requisition creation to offer acceptance within the ATS.
  • Act as a talent acquisition partner to assigned departments and learn the business.
  • Partner with College Recruiting to attract recent college graduates or interns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • At least four (4) years of recruiting experience is preferred.
  • Solid experience using tools to source passive candidates (LinkedIn Recruiter, ZoomInfo, Dice, etc.).
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ORC, Taleo, SuccessFactors, etc.).
  • Experience managing up to 25 requisitions simultaneously in a corporate environment is preferred.
  • Experience sourcing passive candidates for difficult roles.
  • Ability to work with team members in a respectful and professional manner.
  • Ability to work in a diverse environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong knowledge of employment law related to recruiting and hiring.
  • Exposure to recruiting metrics including Time to Fill, Time to Hire, and Time Open.
  • Experience with government hiring requirements including ITAR and security clearances.
