About the position

Heart to Heart Home Care is seeking a dedicated and skilled Recruiter to join our team in East Orange, NJ. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $35,000 to $37,000 per year. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, along with exceptional organizational abilities. The Recruiter will be responsible for managing the recruitment process, which includes interviewing, screening, and evaluating applicants to ensure they meet the staffing needs of the organization. The role requires a proactive approach to developing and networking connections with various schools and programs to foster a pipeline of future candidates. In this position, the Recruiter will obtain all necessary personnel information from new employees before they are placed on their first case, ensuring that personnel files are kept current. The Recruiter will also be responsible for general office duties as assigned and will work closely with Senior Leadership to ensure compliance with company policies and state regulations. Assisting with the orientation of new employees and communicating with applicants throughout the hiring process are also key responsibilities. The Recruiter will participate in company recruitment events throughout New Jersey and must be willing to travel to various locations and satellite offices to meet recruitment needs. This role is essential in meeting the deadlines and staffing needs of our contacts and clients, making it a vital part of our operations at Heart to Heart Home Care.

Responsibilities

  • Interview, screen and evaluate applicants for staffing placement depending on the immediate needs.
  • Obtain all required personnel information from new employees before they are placed on their first case; keep personnel files current.
  • Responsible for general office duties as assigned.
  • Work with Senior Leadership to assure compliance is met.
  • Assist with orientation of new employees as needed.
  • Develop and network connections with various schools and programs to foster future candidates.
  • Meet deadlines and staffing needs of contacts and clients.
  • Ensure all new hire paperwork is in compliance with company and state regulations prior to orientation.
  • Communicate and work with applicants throughout the entire hiring process.
  • Assist in company recruitment events throughout NJ.
  • Travel to various locations and different satellite offices to meet recruitment needs.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in a recruiting or related role.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with many moving parts and follow directions.
  • Working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
