About the position

Manpower of Shelby Township is seeking a Temp-to-Hire Recruiter who will specialize in the manufacturing field. This role is designed for individuals who have a passion for understanding talent, helping others develop, and connecting their skills to meaningful work. As a Recruiter, you will leverage your strong communication, organizational, and technology skills to drive all aspects of recruitment while providing exceptional customer service to both candidates and clients. In this position, you will be responsible for screening, interviewing, and onboarding associates for various placements, including temporary, temp-to-permanent, and permanent roles. You will own the full cycle recruiting activities for multiple roles across all functional areas, employing creative sourcing strategies to identify the best talent for each position. Collaboration with hiring managers is crucial, as you will work closely with them throughout the recruitment process to ensure their hiring needs and goals are met. Additionally, you will track and consistently report on recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and the pipeline of candidates, ensuring transparency and efficiency in the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

  • Screening, interviewing, and onboarding associates for temporary, temp to permanent, and permanent placements.
  • Own full cycle recruiting activities for multiple roles across all functional areas.
  • Use creative sourcing strategies to find the best talent for each role.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to meet their hiring needs and goals.
  • Track and report on recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and candidate pipeline.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in recruiting, customer service, and/or sales (preferred).
  • Experience in making timely and accurate hiring decisions, including the identification, qualification, and selection of candidates.
  • Innovative approach and ability to operate successfully in ambiguous situations.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, use sound judgment, and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, job boards, and applicant tracking systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
