About the position

The Recruiter at Chewy plays a crucial role in building a talented workforce for the rapidly growing eCommerce business. This full-cycle recruiter is responsible for sourcing candidates creatively and efficiently while ensuring a positive candidate experience. The role involves collaborating with hiring managers to understand their needs and managing a high volume of candidates through various sourcing methods.

Responsibilities

• Execute recruiting and pipe-lining plans
• Identify recruiting sources and develop innovative methods to attract diverse talent
• Conduct independent sourcing via social recruiting, networking, job postings, and cold calls
• Work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and ensure goals are met
• Ensure a phenomenal candidate experience
• Manage a consistent, high volume flow of qualified candidates through active and passive sourcing methods
• Develop a pipeline of candidates in niche areas based on market needs
• Participate in Campus Recruiting
• Conduct candidate reference checks to raise the hiring bar
• Track goals, metrics, and performance of the hiring cycle and communicate status and results
• Propose and implement ongoing innovations and improvements to the recruitment process
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Connect with new hires to ensure a great candidate experience
• Lead HRIS and Time and Attendance system implementations as required
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Successful track record of direct sourcing candidates
• Strong knowledge of outside recruiting resources including social recruiting
• Expertise in working with an ATS
• Strong project management and agency management skills
• Outstanding networking and communication skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to independently manage multiple competing demands
• High sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Savvy with the latest tech and tools
