About the position

The Recruiter position at Core One is focused on supporting the MARSOC R&A program, requiring a current SECRET clearance. The role involves managing large pools of qualified new working applicants (NWA) and utilizing the Recruiting Information System (RIS) database. The recruiter will execute systematic recruiting methods, maintain communication with applicants, and assist uniform recruiters in disseminating information related to the Assessment and Selection (A&S) process.

Responsibilities

• Manage large pools of qualified new working applicants (NWA).
• Utilize the Recruiting Information System (RIS) database daily.
• Execute systematic recruiting through telephone, emails, and unit canvassing.
• Drive the processing of Command Screening Checklists and Special Operations Physicals.
• Contact all NWAs at least twice monthly prior to their approval for A&S.
• Maintain commitment with assigned applicants and assist uniform recruiters with information dissemination regarding A&S.
• Interact directly with individual applicants and their parent commands.
• Travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations as directed by the Assistant Operations Officer.

Requirements

• Former USMC E-6 to E-9 with four years prior experience as a Marine Corps Recruiter or as a Unit Career Planner.
• Completion of the Marine Resident or Non-Resident Staff Non-Commissioned Officer Career or Advance Course.
• Possess a secret clearance on day one of contract execution.
• Possess a current passport.
• Complete understanding of all Marine Corps Forces Manpower Policies related to retention and lateral moves.
• Working knowledge of MARSOC and associated missions applicable to Critical Skills Operators and Special Operations Officers.
