About the position

The Recruiter position at ADM is a temporary contract role based in Decatur, Illinois, offering a pay rate of $28 per hour. This hybrid position requires the recruiter to work on-site for three days a week, with the remaining days being flexible. The successful candidate will be responsible for attracting and hiring hourly manufacturing talent for ADM's oilseeds processing sites. This role is crucial as it involves utilizing advanced sourcing skills to research and network with passive candidates, thereby landing critical talent for the organization. The recruiter will act as a consultative talent advisor, providing external market insights to hiring managers and HR Business Partners regarding talent needs and recruitment strategies. In this fast-paced and dynamic environment, the recruiter will work on strategic projects aimed at improving and innovating the recruitment process. This includes generating a candidate pipeline and streamlining the experience for both managers and candidates. The recruiter will play a vital role in positioning ADM as an employer of choice, particularly for highly skilled and diverse talent that is essential for the company's growth. The role requires building solid relationships with hiring managers to understand team dynamics and cultural fit, as well as the skills and experiences necessary for the business's success. The recruiter will also be responsible for leveraging multiple sourcing tools to attract diverse talent, managing the full cycle recruiting process, and maintaining quality pipeline metrics through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Responsibilities

  • Build solid relationships with hiring managers and develop a keen understanding of team dynamics and cultural fit.
  • Act as an ambassador of ADM and help create a strong employer-of-choice brand.
  • Use knowledge of the competitive landscape to build recruiting strategies for open positions.
  • Leverage multiple sourcing tools to identify and attract highly skilled diverse talent.
  • Own the full cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, relationship management, and closing of candidates.
  • Keep managers and candidates informed on the status of the process.
  • Partner effectively with HR Business Partners to ensure the talent needs of the organization are met.
  • Drive an efficient hiring process and maintain quality pipeline metrics via the ATS.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a full life-cycle recruiter.
  • Demonstrated expert level capabilities in direct sourcing talent.
  • Highly developed communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Prior agency experience is a plus.
  • Strong consulting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience developing targeted sourcing strategies to attract talent for niche roles and in challenging talent markets, specifically in manufacturing roles.
  • Self-motivated with superior organizational skills, integrity, and follow-through.
  • Strong relationship management experience and closing skills.
  • Strong self-starter and 'dot-connector' that sees the big picture and drives processes to deliver desired outcomes.
