About the position

We at Prince Telecom are in growth mode, and as such, are looking to add a Recruiter to our team. The successful person will have the drive, tenacity, and flexibility to find the right candidates for our organization. You will be recruiting for a variety of exempt and non-exempt positions, including Cable Installers, Field Technicians, Supervisors, Managers, and Administrative, in addition to other roles as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct an initial intake meeting with the hiring manager to clarify and confirm needs.
  • Identify qualified candidates according to the relevant job criteria, using various sourcing techniques (e.g., computer databases, networking, internet recruiting resources, social media, out-bound recruiting, employee referrals).
  • Screen applicants to conduct preliminary phone interviews and to refer applicants to the hiring manager and make hiring recommendations when appropriate.
  • Interview applicants to obtain information on work history, education, and job skills and qualifications.
  • Deliver professional offer letters with a high level of accuracy and explain important information within the offer (e.g., benefits, compensation).
  • Daily maintenance of the candidate database via our Applicant Tracking System and other tools to ensure efficiencies are gained.
  • Provide excellent customer service to external applicants, internal employees, management, and vendors.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Actively display professional oral and written interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Represent Prince Telecom at networking and hiring events.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years in recruiting at varied levels in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with an ATS (SAP, SmartRecruiters, Bullhorn, iCIMS, etc).
  • Minimum education requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to travel 10-15% of the time.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
