About the position

LINAK® provides electric actuation solutions that improve people's quality of life and working environment. The Human Resources Coordinator (Recruiter) is responsible for developing and executing strategic recruitment initiatives to support the growth and expansion of the LINAK U.S. workforce. This role involves facilitating the recruitment of hourly positions, which includes sourcing candidates through both active and passive methods, posting job openings, screening applications and resumes, conducting initial telephone screens, interviewing candidates, assessing their qualifications, coordinating pre-employment screening processes, and participating in final hiring decisions to ensure that highly qualified candidates are selected. In addition to recruitment, the Human Resources Coordinator will coordinate the placement of temporary workers from temp agencies, serving as the primary contact for all matters related to temporary placements. This includes maintaining contracts and agreements with temp agencies, sourcing new temp agencies as necessary, and working with managers to update and maintain job descriptions as changes occur. The role also requires the implementation of recruitment initiatives that attract highly qualified candidates, enhance LINAK's brand within the community, and foster partnerships with local organizations to ensure LINAK has a strong presence in the community. The Human Resources Coordinator will stay updated on the latest recruitment technologies and trends, adjusting LINAK's recruitment policies and procedures accordingly. They will create promotional materials to position LINAK as an employer of choice and implement and maintain accurate electronic systems to track and monitor recruiting efforts. The role also includes facilitating the onboarding process for new hires, preparing new hire packets, administering apprenticeship programs, and maintaining relationships through community engagement. Additionally, the coordinator will complete government reporting obligations related to recruitment and provide backup coverage for the receptionist and the Human Resources team as needed. The Human Resources Coordinator must exemplify the desired cultural and philosophical values of LINAK and uphold the company's policies and practices consistently.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the recruitment of hourly positions including sourcing, posting jobs, screening applications/resumes, conducting initial telephone screens, interviewing, assessing, and coordinating pre-employment screening processes.
  • Coordinate the placement of temporary workers from temp agencies and maintain contracts/agreements with them.
  • Work with managers to update and maintain job descriptions as changes are made.
  • Initiate efforts to create and implement recruitment initiatives that attract highly qualified candidates and brand LINAK within the community.
  • Stay abreast of the newest recruitment technology and trends and adjust LINAK recruitment policies and procedures accordingly.
  • Create promotional material to position LINAK as an employer of choice within the community.
  • Implement and maintain accurate electronic systems to search, track and monitor recruiting efforts.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including new hire orientation and preparing supplies for New Hire Packets.
  • Administer apprenticeship programs at LINAK and maintain relationships through community engagement.
  • Complete government reporting obligations related to recruitment and applicant tracking.
  • Provide backup coverage for the receptionist/switchboard operator and the Human Resources team as needed.
  • Administer all Human Resources policies and practices consistently with company values and operating procedures.

Requirements

  • A minimum of three to five years of recruiting experience is preferred.
  • A high school diploma is required, some college is preferred.
  • PHR/SPHR certification is preferred.
  • Must have a keen attention to detail and a customer service orientation.
  • Must be familiar with HRIS and ATS systems as well as internet-based administrator programs.
  • Must be familiar with standard computer software and office equipment.
