About the position

Rapid Temps, Inc. is seeking a Healthcare Recruiter with a dynamic sales personality to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the recruiting field. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset, as well as the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus, although not mandatory. This is an entry-level position, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking to start their career in recruitment. The successful applicant will be required to pass a background check and a drug screening prior to employment. The working hours for this role are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, providing a stable day shift schedule. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Albuquerque, NM, before starting work. We utilize a proprietary applicant tracking system, so proficiency with computers is essential. Responsibilities

  • Conduct recruitment activities to identify and attract qualified candidates for healthcare positions.
  • Utilize a proprietary applicant tracking system to manage candidate applications and communications.
  • Communicate effectively with candidates to provide information about job opportunities and the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Screen resumes and applications to shortlist candidates for interviews.
  • Schedule and conduct interviews with potential candidates, providing feedback to hiring managers.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and recruitment metrics.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills to interact with candidates and hiring managers effectively.
  • Proficiency in using computers and applicant tracking systems.
  • Problem-solving skills to address challenges in the recruitment process.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask and manage various recruitment activities simultaneously.
  • Experience in recruiting, preferably 1 year, is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
  • An undergraduate or graduate degree is preferred but not required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Access for managing candidate data.
  • Previous experience in a sales role, particularly in a healthcare setting.
