About the position

We are seeking a Bilingual Recruitment Specialist to manage the hiring process from advertising open roles to interviewing candidates and closing hires. This role involves connecting with potential candidates, screening applications, and supporting customer hiring needs while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Create and publish job ads in various portals.
• Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during events.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to set qualification criteria for future employees.
• Screen resumes and job applications.
• Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates.
• Interview candidates via phone for a wide range of roles.
• Train and advise on interviewing techniques and assessment methods.
• Host and participate in job fairs.
• Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Maintain a current database of potential candidates for future job openings.
• Know and enforce all Safety Procedures, Rules and Regulations.
• Respond to all customer needs in the Houma, LA area.
• Support the company in any other needs as they arise.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Recruitment Specialist, Recruiter or similar role.
• MUST BE BILINGUAL ENGLISH/SPANISH.
• Hands-on experience with the largest job sites like Monster and Indeed.
• Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites like LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.
• Strong computer knowledge, MS Office, etc. as well as Social Media Platforms.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Good written and verbal communications skills.
• Team spirit.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in recruiting for various fields and seniority levels.
• Ability to relocate to Bayou La Batre, AL.
