About the position

As a Recruiter at CenterPoint Energy, you will be instrumental in sourcing and acquiring top talent across the enterprise. This role involves collaborating with internal clients, including labor unions and field employees, to understand hiring needs and develop strategic workforce plans. You will be responsible for implementing effective sourcing strategies, managing recruitment processes, and fostering a diverse workforce to support operations across multiple states.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and attract diverse, qualified candidates through effective sourcing and posting methods.
  • Leverage social media and niche recruiting programs to expand the talent pool.
  • Implement best practices in candidate assessment and selection.
  • Lead business managers through compliant selection processes.
  • Efficiently manage recruitment processes and documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Explore innovative uses of technology to enhance recruitment efficiency.
  • Develop strategies to foster a diverse workforce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of full-cycle recruiting and sourcing experience.
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting for high-volume, skilled labor positions within regional operations.
