About the position

Na Ali'i Consulting & Sales, LLC is seeking a dedicated Recruiter to support the talent acquisition initiatives of the Nakupuna Companies. This role encompasses both tactical and administrative responsibilities, making it essential for the Recruiter to be a team-oriented individual with exceptional communication and organizational skills. The Recruiter will serve as a primary point of contact for hiring managers, helping them to identify and fulfill their talent acquisition needs effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in utilizing various sourcing strategies and collaborating with other Recruiters to attract a diverse pool of high-caliber candidates in a fast-paced recruiting environment. In this position, the Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full cycle of recruiting activities, which includes sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring both internal and external candidates. Working closely with the Senior Recruiter and hiring managers, the Recruiter will source, select, interview, recommend, and process candidates for both exempt and non-exempt positions. This role is integral to the Human Capital team and reports directly to the Talent Acquisition Specialist. The Recruiter will also be involved in tracking candidates throughout the hiring process using the iCIMS Applicant Tracking System, ensuring that all applicant and new hire paperwork is processed correctly. The Recruiter will actively participate in job fairs, maintain a pipeline of candidates for future roles, and consistently uphold high ethical standards and confidentiality throughout the hiring process. The position requires a self-motivated individual who can multi-task effectively while maintaining attention to detail and a commitment to the company's culture and values.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to support hiring initiatives
  • Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications
  • Manage full cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, scheduling and follow-up with both candidates and hiring managers by phone and email
  • Pipeline activities for 'hard to fill' roles or for roles that the company is regularly searching for
  • Act as a primary point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
  • Post openings in various job boards, with professional organizations, and social media sites
  • Use independent judgment and interviewing skills foundation to select and place contract candidates on contract assignments
  • Treat candidates in a professional manner and ensure that all business is conducted while demonstrating integrity and fairness
  • Assist with tracking candidates throughout the entire hiring process using our Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS) and proper processing of all applicant and new hire paperwork
  • Administratively prepare for and facilitate new hire onboarding sessions
  • File storage and organization of employee files
  • Process due diligence tasks for selected candidates, including completing reference checks as needed and verifying security eligibility
  • Maintain our pipeline of candidates for future roles
  • Multi-task effectively while working quickly and accurately
  • Track goals, metrics, and performance during the hiring process, regularly communicating status with HR team and hiring managers
  • Participate in job fairs as needed
  • Maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality
  • Consistently serve as a positive ambassador for the company's culture in all interactions
  • All other duties as assigned by Human Capital Director and Leadership Team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or another related field from an accredited institution
  • 1 year of recruiting experience required
  • 1 year of related federal government contracting recruiting experience is strongly desired
  • Understanding of EEOC recruiting requirements and guidelines for government contractors is strongly desired
  • Experience with the iCIMS Applicant Tracking System strongly desired
  • Experience recruiting for SCA and CBA positions is strongly desired
  • Strong technical skills and experience with social media recruiting are preferred
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred
