About the position

The Recruiting and Onboarding Specialist at Madison Health and Rehabilitation Center plays a crucial role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring qualified healthcare professionals. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various positions within the skilled nursing facility.
  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals.
  • Conduct interviews, evaluate candidates, and make recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future openings.
  • Coordinate and participate in job fairs, career events, and other recruitment activities.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in healthcare recruitment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare recruitment, preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare roles and qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
