About the position

The HR Recruiting and Onboarding Specialist is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of recruiting and onboarding processes. This role involves understanding recruiting needs, sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires. The specialist will also maintain accurate data in HR systems and support hiring managers throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Perform full lifecycle recruiting including understanding recruiting needs, posting job ads, and sourcing candidates.
• Organize and file applicant data, review applications, and screen candidates.
• Coordinate phone, video, and in-person interviews, ensuring all paperwork is collected.
• Communicate with applicants throughout the recruiting process.
• Enter candidate information into HR systems and create onboarding agendas.
• Answer questions from new hires and coordinate with others for a great onboarding experience.
• Follow up with new hires post-start to ensure a smooth transition.
• Participate in daily planning and prioritization of work and reporting of activities.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related discipline required.
• 3+ years of related experience with a High School diploma or GED will be considered in lieu of an advanced degree.
• 2+ years' experience in HR or Recruiting preferred.
• Must maintain confidentiality and integrity in all HR tasks.
• Self-motivated and resourceful with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
