About the position

The HR Recruiting and Onboarding Specialist at Beechwood Hotel Group is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of recruiting and onboarding processes. This role involves understanding recruitment needs, sourcing candidates, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires. The specialist will maintain accurate HR data and support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

• Perform full lifecycle recruiting including understanding recruiting needs, posting job ads, and sourcing candidates.
• Organize and file applicant data, review applications, and screen candidates.
• Coordinate phone, video, and in-person interviews, ensuring all paperwork is collected.
• Enter candidate information into HR systems and create onboarding agendas.
• Answer questions from new hires and coordinate with others to ensure a great onboarding experience.
• Follow up with new hires post-start to ensure their integration into the company.
• Participate in daily planning and prioritization of work and reporting of activities.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related discipline required.
• 3+ years of related experience with a High School diploma or GED will be considered in lieu of an advanced degree.
• 2+ years' experience in HR or Recruiting preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
