About the position

The Recruiting and Onboarding Specialist at Casa Central Social Services is responsible for attracting a diverse pool of qualified talent and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires. This role involves executing traditional and creative recruiting strategies, maintaining recruitment metrics, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and implement the full lifecycle of the recruiting process, including processing requisitions and posting job opportunities.
• Provide applicant search and pre-screening support for hard-to-fill positions.
• Act as a liaison between the hiring manager and candidate throughout the interview, offer, negotiation, and onboarding processes.
• Attend and evaluate participation in job fairs and recruiting sessions.
• Plan, execute, and evaluate quarterly recruiting and networking events hosted onsite at Casa Central under the direction of the HR Director.
• Oversee the onboarding process, including processing personnel forms and executing pre-employment testing.
• Manage New Hire Orientation and New Hire Experience, including appreciation gifts and welcome events.
• Maintain a recruiting spreadsheet to monitor requisitions and compile vacancy snapshots for the COO.
• Post job openings on online job boards, ensuring listings are accurate and up to date.
• Collaborate with HR Director and hiring managers to utilize paid campaigns for hard-to-fill positions.

Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in recruiting and onboarding processes.
