About the position

As a Recruiting Coordinator at Worldwide Flight Services, you will play a crucial role in the onboarding process of new hires, ensuring that they are well-informed and prepared for their first day. Your responsibilities will include communicating essential company and position details to new hires prior to their start date, ensuring that all pre-employment activities are completed, including background checks, drug screenings, and onboarding paperwork such as Section 1 of i9's. You will also be responsible for ensuring that new hires acknowledge company policies and procedures, which is vital for their successful integration into the company. In this fast-paced and high-volume hiring environment, you will work closely with operations and training teams to schedule the first day of work for new hires and maintain communication with them at each step of the onboarding process. Your role will be to organize and facilitate the company's onboarding procedures, making sure that new employees feel welcomed and supported from the moment they arrive at WFS. You will track the progress of new hires in detail to ensure that all pre-employment activities are completed in a timely manner, thus ensuring a smooth hiring process. Ultimately, your goal will be to create a positive onboarding experience for new hires, helping them to acclimate to their new roles and the company culture. Responsibilities

  • Communicate regularly to new hires information about onboarding requirements, including shift and training schedules.
  • Track in detail new hire progress to ensure all pre-employment activities have been completed in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate frequently with Recruiting, Operations, and Training to ensure the pipeline of new hires is fully ready for hire on day one.
  • Welcome new employees upon their arrival to WFS and introduce team members to managers.
  • Be a resource for new hires during their onboarding and direct them to the appropriate departments for questions related to benefits, payroll, etc.
  • Ensure new hires have technical assistance to properly set up their hardware and software.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS/ATS).
  • Basic knowledge of labor legislation.
  • Team spirit and welcoming disposition.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Nice-to-haves

  • SAP Success Factors preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with all levels of employees.
  • BSc degree in Human Resources Management or similar field (preferred but not required).
  • Time management skills.
  • Metric Driven.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
