About the position

As a Recruiting Manager specializing in Finance and Accounting, you will play a pivotal role in developing and expanding our client base while identifying new business opportunities. Your responsibilities will include introducing our services through various channels such as video calls, telephone conversations, and in-person meetings with both new and existing clients. The goal is to enhance the utilization of our services and ensure that we meet the staffing needs of our clients effectively. You will be tasked with recruiting, evaluating, and placing finance and accounting professionals in full-time positions, ensuring that both clients and candidates receive outstanding customer service throughout the process. Consistent communication and career guidance will be essential as you work closely with candidates to help them navigate their career paths. In addition to direct recruiting responsibilities, you will actively participate in industry trade associations to bolster our presence within the local finance and accounting community. This role requires a proactive approach to networking and relationship-building, as well as a deep understanding of the finance and accounting sectors to effectively match candidates with the right opportunities. Your success in this position will be measured by your ability to deliver results, maintain strong client relationships, and contribute to the overall growth of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow a client base and new business opportunities.
  • Introduce services via video, telephone, and in-person meetings with clients.
  • Recruit, evaluate, and place finance and accounting professionals in full-time positions.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to both clients and candidates.
  • Provide consistent communication and career guidance to candidates.
  • Participate in industry trade associations to increase presence in the finance and accounting community.

Requirements

  • A business-related degree, ideally in finance or accounting.
  • 2+ years of experience in public/industry accounting/finance and/or successful permanent placement recruiting experience required.
  • Proven track record of success in recruiting and client management.
  • Excellent communication skills and a high sense of urgency.
  • Ability to leverage finance and accounting experience to manage and grow the business.

Nice-to-haves

  • CPA and/or MBA is a plus.
