About the position

The Recruiting Onboarding Specialist at Borland Groover is responsible for strategically sourcing candidates and managing the full-cycle recruitment process. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, conducting interviews, and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires. The specialist will also handle various administrative tasks related to recruitment and ensure compliance with employment practices.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to determine hiring needs.
  • Draft and update job descriptions.
  • Use web-based technology to post positions, track the hiring process, and analyze hiring trends.
  • Conduct pre-screening calls to identify qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers.
  • Extend offers to candidates and handle negotiations appropriately.
  • Conduct reference and background checks on applicants.
  • Facilitate the drug testing process.
  • Coordinate first-day/orientation details, onboarding process, and Paycor profile for new hires.
  • Ensure new hires have the necessary IT setup (hardware, software, credentials), uniforms, and badge.
  • Ensure all new hire paperwork is complete, including I-9 documentation.
  • Manage priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure that fair employment practices are followed.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • At least two years of experience working as a recruiter in the healthcare industry.
  • Experience in negotiation and making compensation recommendations.
  • Working knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to employment.
  • ATS system experience is required.
  • HRIS experience required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Paycor knowledge is a plus.
  • SHRM or PHR certification is a plus.
