About the position

The Talent Sourcing Specialist at South Post Oak Recycling Center is responsible for supporting full lifecycle recruiting, focusing on sourcing top talent in the recycling industry. This part-time role involves engaging with potential candidates, coordinating with hiring managers, and maintaining a strong candidate pipeline to meet the company's hiring needs.

Responsibilities

• Interact with potential candidates on job posting boards, social media, and professional networks, and conduct initial phone interviews.
• Coordinate with recruiters and hiring managers to determine position requirements.
• Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g., Indeed search, Paylocity).
• Gain industry knowledge to ensure a strong candidate pipeline for various roles and maintain knowledge of competitive markets.
• Maintain candidate databases.
• Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities.
• Utilize HR Consultant in all communication touch points with candidates and promote the employer brand.
• Drive diversity efforts and build diverse talent pools.
• Ensure a highly positive candidate experience for all candidates.
• Contribute as a team member, sharing ideas and driving innovation in the recruiting process.

Requirements

• 1+ years' experience in customer service with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Prior experience in recruiting is a plus but not required, including managing recruiting processes through an ATS.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to positively represent the company and open roles to potential candidates.
