About the position

MATRIX is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Recruiting Specialist II to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for employee relations and business development, focusing heavily on sourcing candidates while also managing clerical responsibilities related to data entry in the applicant tracking system. The position involves conducting various types of interviews and ensuring best practices in recruitment processes, all while working primarily in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage sourcing of the best candidates to fill open positions.
  • Perform mass sourcing campaigns, screenings, interviews, reference checks, and criminal background checks for candidates.
  • Facilitate, audit, and track various documents and enrollments throughout the candidate application process.
  • Maintain and document reports, records, certifications, skills, focus testing, and resumes in databases.
  • Implement procedures for vetting skill levels and creating a sourcing database for hiring and inventory of current assets.
  • Improve and enforce the official company recruiting plan.
  • Negotiate compensation with candidates and hiring managers to reach agreements.
  • Act as a representative to candidates/employees and maintain relationships to keep potential employees engaged for future positions.
  • Communicate with future, present, and past employees to ensure up-to-date contact information and resumes.
  • Participate in training and consultation on employee relations and compliance-related topics, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of recruitment experience required.
  • Working knowledge of social media and job boards.
  • Understanding of human resources policies and practices.
  • Ability to conduct various types of interviews (in person, online, phone).
  • Knowledge of HR databases and candidate management systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized individuals.
  • Experience working with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly and is proactive.

Nice-to-haves

  • Recruiting certifications and accreditation affiliation preferred.
  • Ideal candidate will possess a 'can do' attitude with a 'will do' work ethic.
