About the position

The Recruiting Specialist at Help at Home is responsible for developing and implementing local recruitment strategies to attract new candidates for caregiver positions. This entry-level role involves engaging with applicants, conducting interviews, onboarding new hires, and collaborating with the local branch team to meet staffing needs. The position emphasizes compliance and creating a positive first impression for new employees.

Responsibilities

• Develop local recruitment strategies to attract new candidates.
• Engage with applicants in the applicant tracking system.
• Conduct interviews and onboard new hires for orientation.
• Work closely with the local branch team to understand staffing needs.
• Build applicant pools by researching community services, colleges, and employment agencies.
• Attend local hiring fairs and events to promote job openings.
• Determine applicant qualifications by reviewing applications and conducting interviews.
• Complete the onboarding process including background checks and E-Verify.
• Schedule and conduct New Hire orientation on a weekly basis or as needed.
• Update the applicant tracking system throughout the hiring process.
• Act as a brand ambassador to enhance the company's reputation.
• Collect and report on metrics and data to track hiring progress.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of prior recruiting experience required.
• Some college-level education preferred.
