About the position

Help at Home is seeking an Entry Level, On-site Recruiting Specialist to develop local recruitment strategies aimed at attracting new candidates. This role involves engaging with applicants, conducting interviews, onboarding new hires, and collaborating with the local branch team to address caregiver staffing needs. The Recruiting Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth onboarding process and maintaining compliance with hiring regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop local recruitment strategies to attract new candidates.
• Engage with applicants in the applicant tracking system.
• Conduct interviews and onboard new hires for orientation.
• Work closely with the local branch team to understand open needs for caregivers.
• Build applicant pools by researching and contacting community services, colleges, and employment agencies.
• Attend local hiring fairs and events to promote job openings.
• Determine applicant qualifications by reviewing and interviewing applicants.
• Complete the onboarding process including background checks and E-Verify.
• Schedule and conduct New Hire orientation on a weekly basis or as needed.
• Update the applicant tracking system through each stage of the hiring process.
• Act as a brand ambassador to enhance the company's reputation.
• Collect and report on metrics and data to track hiring progress.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of prior recruiting experience required.
• Some college-level education preferred.
