About the position

The Recruitment and HR Manager at Inspired Education will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of Inspired Online Schools in the USA. This position involves overseeing recruitment strategies, onboarding processes, and employee relations to foster a positive work environment. The role is hybrid, requiring both remote work and in-office presence in the Washington, DC metro area.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Coordinate job postings, screen resumes, and schedule interviews.
  • Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Assist in conducting reference checks and preparing offer letters.
  • Develop and manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Conduct new employee orientations and coordinate training sessions.
  • Support the development and maintenance of positive employee relations.
  • Assist in addressing employee inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to implement employee engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with our human resources partner to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in managing employee benefits programs and addressing benefits-related inquiries.
  • Support the administration of HR systems and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR and recruitment coordination or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with HR software and systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of employee relations practices is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to the mission of Inspired Online Schools.
