About the position

The Recruitment Coordinator at Cleveland Clinic plays a crucial role in ensuring new hires are compliant and ready for their first day. This position involves managing the pre-boarding process for both internal transfers and external hires, ensuring all necessary requirements such as background checks, certifications, and employment verification are met. The coordinator will work closely with candidates and the recruitment team to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience for approximately 24,000 caregivers annually.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and coordinate new Caregiver HR appointments.
  • Assist with key processes that include background checks, education, employment, certification verification, and welcome/offer letters.
  • Maintain the I-9 dashboard and communicate non-compliance appropriately.
  • Track and report timely on new Caregiver status as it relates to HR appointment readiness and attendance, missing documents, and clearance.
  • Responsible for achieving individual goals and metrics and assists in meeting departmental goals.
  • Coordinate or assist with recruitment events as directed by Talent Acquisition leadership.
  • Provide support with miscellaneous projects and spreadsheet work.
  • Responsible for onboarding, training, and coaching new Caregivers.
  • Partner with Human Resources for compliance and regulatory audits, reviews, and inspections.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Two years of customer service experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous human resources or customer service experience.
  • Experience with computers and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience in prioritizing and multi-tasking in a flexible, fast paced environment.
