About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist with expertise in Workday to join our Human Resources team. This role is critical in attracting, sourcing, and onboarding top talent to meet the organization's goals. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of Workday's recruitment and onboarding modules, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for delivering a seamless candidate and new hire experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates across various departments.
  • Utilize Workday's recruitment module to post job openings, track candidates, and manage pipelines efficiently.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, define role requirements, and create job descriptions.
  • Ensure Managers & HRBPs have visibility to requisition progress, provide input and recommendations on how to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates, leveraging job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations during all stages of recruitment.
  • Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process to ensure a positive and engaging new hire experience.
  • Manage the Workday onboarding module to coordinate tasks, track completion, and ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers, HR, IT, and other teams to prepare new hire documents, tools, and access requirements.
  • Conduct onboarding sessions, introduce company culture, and provide resources for new employees.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve onboarding processes for efficiency and engagement.
  • Leverage Workday to generate recruitment and onboarding reports, metrics, and insights to optimize processes and identify trends.
  • Act as a Workday super-user, troubleshooting system issues and providing training to colleagues as needed.
  • Collaborate with HRIS to enhance system configurations and workflows related to recruitment and onboarding.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers, HR business partners, and department heads to align recruitment and onboarding strategies with business goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, labor laws, and HR best practices to ensure compliance and innovation.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in recruitment and onboarding practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in recruitment, onboarding, or HR operations, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday recruitment and onboarding modules is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday's capabilities, workflows, and reporting functions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret recruitment metrics and suggest data-driven improvements.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and onboarding.
