About the position

The Recruitment Onboarding Specialist at The Friendly Home is responsible for managing the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring compliance with HR regulations, and facilitating a smooth transition for new employees into the organization. This role emphasizes recruitment and retention, requiring strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate with various stakeholders and maintain accurate employee data.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and ensure completion of all new hire onboarding data in HRIS.
  • Communicate candidate status to key stakeholders such as hiring managers and recruiters.
  • Schedule pre-employment requirements in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and send rejection letters through HRIS ATS.
  • Complete required references for all new hires.
  • Present HR new hire orientations in person as needed.
  • Ensure 100% completion of requirements for all new hires.
  • Ensure accurate employee data is inputted into ATS and HRIS.
  • Collaborate with new hire candidates as the main point of contact for online onboarding and orientation.
  • Ensure compliance for all regulatory new hire requirements, including Prometrics, streamline verify, licensures, certifications, I-9 forms, and work permits.
  • Prepare and monitor new hire background checks.
  • Act as the primary authorized user for CHRC submissions, monitoring according to DOH policies and procedures.
  • Prepare Criminal Analysis Form for all required CHRC results and review with VP of Human Resources for final determination.
  • Prepare, distribute, and track onboarding touchpoints for new hires.
  • Participate in conducting monthly, quarterly, and annual HR corporate compliance audits.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a related field of study preferred.
  • 3 or more years of experience in handling HR responsibilities with an emphasis on recruitment and retention.
  • General knowledge of Human Resource laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office applications.
  • Experience using HRIS systems, preferably PayCor.
