About the position

As the Recruitment & People Operations Manager for Moove.io's USA operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth by leading the recruitment and onboarding of drivers, as well as managing the overall people operations. This includes setting up payroll processing, ensuring compliance with U.S. labor laws, and fostering a positive work environment. You'll be at the forefront of building our team in the USA, making a direct impact on our success in this key market. In this role, you will lead the recruitment process for drivers across various cities in the USA, ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding experience. You will develop and implement strategies to attract, hire, and retain top-quality drivers. Overseeing the onboarding process will include compliance with local regulations, documentation, and training. Additionally, you will manage end-to-end recruitment processes for all roles within the USA operations, from sourcing candidates to making offers. Collaboration with department heads to understand hiring needs and build effective talent pipelines will be essential. You will also design and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to the needs of the USA market. Leading the setup and management of payroll processing in the USA will be a key responsibility, ensuring timely and accurate payments. Handling employee relations, performance management, and other HR-related tasks will be crucial to fostering a positive workplace culture. Furthermore, you will ensure all recruitment and people operations activities comply with federal, state, and local employment laws, maintaining accurate records and generating reports on hiring metrics, payroll, and other HR activities. Working closely with the global HR team to align USA operations with Moove.io's overall HR strategy will be an important aspect of your role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment and HR management, preferably within the transportation, logistics, or tech sectors.
  • Proven experience in driver recruitment and onboarding is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and payroll processing.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
