Responsibilities
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Build cribs
- Set posts
- Build bridges
- Supply miner and bolter
- Assist with belt moves
- Assist with load center moves
- Extend waterlines
- Unload supplies
- Clean spillage of coal
- Perform other general laborer duties as necessary
Requirements
- Must have 6 months or more underground coal mining experience
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work weekly rotating shifts
- Ability to work overtime as necessary
- Regular and punctual attendance
- Ability to communicate with management and co-workers and work as a team
- Ability to work in an underground mining environment
- Must be able to pass a background check, physical, drug screen, and functional work screening
