The Reference and Market Data Associate Director at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York plays a pivotal role in ensuring the operational pricing and reference data availability and quality. The Associate Director will partner with Vendor Management and business units to manage market data needs and vendor contracts, ensuring that the data provided meets the high standards required for effective decision-making. Additionally, the role involves managing relationships with Markets Risk Management to address any ongoing issues that may arise, thereby ensuring the integrity and reliability of the data used across the organization. In this leadership position, the Associate Director will develop, prioritize, and execute strategies that support pricing and reference data initiatives. This includes leading a team, providing direct coaching, facilitating skill development, and fostering a strong team culture that aligns with the broader objectives of the Product, Strategy & Support (PS&S) team. The PS&S team collaborates closely with Markets leadership to define the strategic vision for technology products and ensure that the portfolio of initiatives delivers value to the Group's mission and objectives. The ideal candidate will be a Subject Matter Expert in price content management, possessing a comprehensive understanding of asset class coverage, vendor methodologies, and accuracy measurement. They will also have experience leading teams through organizational changes and possess superior communication skills to effectively engage with senior stakeholders. The role requires a highly organized individual who can navigate complex and high-stakes environments with an ownership mindset and a bias for action. Experience in Agile environments and a background in finance, business, product, or technology will be advantageous for success in this role.
