About the position

As an Equipment Technician at QuikTrip, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment in our stores, including refrigeration units, commercial kitchen equipment, and HVAC-R systems. This role requires a skilled technician who can handle higher priority calls and ensure that critical issues are resolved efficiently. You will work in a dynamic environment, performing tasks that range from carpentry and plumbing to specialized repairs, all while contributing to a clean and safe environment for customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair refrigeration units and commercial kitchen equipment.
• Perform carpentry, plumbing, and low voltage electrical work as needed.
• Handle higher priority calls and resolve critical issues promptly.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair general equipment.
• Efficiently route and prioritize daily work orders.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a reputable refrigeration school or completion of an Apprenticeship Program.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with refrigeration systems and EPA Type II or Universal certification.
• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of HVAC-R systems, electronic equipment, carpentry, and plumbing.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
