About the position

As a Refrigeration Senior Technical Product Manager at Marmon Foodservice Technologies, you will be responsible for developing and managing product specifications related to refrigeration and beverage dispensing systems. This role involves collaboration with marketing and technical teams to define product roadmaps, ensuring that products meet customer needs and quality standards while driving innovation in foodservice equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive collaboration cross-functionally to conceptualize and develop new refrigeration products or enhance existing ones.
• Conduct market research, identify customer requirements, and define product specifications and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with product management to build strong business cases for new refrigeration products.
• Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans, and set project priorities to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Create and maintain technical requirements focused on meeting customer and business performance requirements.
• Partner with engineering teams to provide technical guidance and resolve technical challenges.
• Interface with reliability teams to ensure designs meet reliability requirements.
• Work closely with product management to define VAVE and cost-saving projects for target profitability.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, certifications, and safety standards.
• Advise tech service and warranty support teams in resolving quality issues.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of refrigeration systems, beverage dispense, ice makers, or frozen carbonate dispensers.
• Experience engineering refrigeration and/or beverage dispense systems for QSR and C&G markets.
• Experience interfacing with customers to define project scope.
• Experience writing technical specifications.
• Ability to translate technical information into clear language for various audiences.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience analyzing and resolving product quality issues.
• Understanding of electromechanical systems functionality and interfaces between subsystems.
• Experience with safety and compliance requirements for fountain beverage dispenser equipment.
