About the position

The Refugee Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategic coordination and management of the Family Resource Connections and Ukrainian Basic Needs Support program within Minnesota's Refugee Resettlement Network. This role involves leading an 8-partner agency collaboration, supervising case managers, and ensuring effective service delivery to refugee families. The manager will facilitate bi-weekly meetings, monitor program fidelity, and oversee communication of key data and reports related to program outputs, outcomes, and budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead collaborator for the Family Resource Connections program, coordinating efforts among eight partner agencies.
  • Host bi-weekly meetings for direct service teams and separate meetings for program managers to ensure smooth collaboration and goal achievement.
  • Supervise case managers, providing leadership and guidance to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Oversee the Family Resource Navigator functions to ensure timely assistance for refugee families in navigating community resources.
  • Lead the development and implementation of service action plans for complex family needs, ensuring connections to long-term resources.
  • Oversee data collection and reporting for the program, ensuring accurate tracking through the Minnesota Refugee Information System (MRIS).
  • Represent the program in the community, building partnerships with local organizations and advocating for refugee families.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate program performance, making adjustments to improve service delivery.
  • Coordinate on-site services at designated service hubs to ensure comprehensive access to resources for refugee families.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience in program management, supervising staff, and providing direct services to refugee families.
  • Proven ability to lead multi-agency collaborations and oversee complex service delivery operations.
  • Strong knowledge of community resources, refugee assistance programs, and culturally responsive service delivery models.
  • Experience in data management, program evaluation, and reporting on program performance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with MRIS or other data tracking systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Multilingual ability, particularly in languages spoken by refugee populations.
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience working in refugee resettlement and managing collaborative service teams.
